DNV TYPE APPROVAL
The prestigious Certification Institute DNV has authorised to use Terrain SDP PB system in the ship piping installations for water supply. The certification, in form of Type Approval, implies the homologation of all the range from 15 mm to 110 mm, and its different jointing systems: Push Fit, Thermofusion, Electrofusion and Butt Welding.
PB piping system of Terrain SDP is ideal for the ship piping installations due to its low weight, excellent flexibility, corrosion free, and all these combined with the different jointing systems: quick, easy, and reliable. Polybutylene, as a thermoplastic, has the best mechanical resistance characteristics among other materials for the same use, apart form being the most flexible one.
